Tutoring
Call or email us to reserve your spot for the 2026-2027 school year.
Seeking extra learning time for your child?
We offer individual and group tutoring for all subjects and grade levels. Sessions are led by tutors with significant experience as educators and take place at a location that works for both of you, such as a public library.
When you contact us, we won't focus on what should have been done.
Instead, let's talk about your child's exciting future and how to move forward.

Our certified teachers are passionate about math and can teach your child in a way they understand. We can also:
-
Recommend an assessment for dyscalculia (a learning disability that affects math)
-
Provide strategies to make math easier for your child
-
Recommend high school math courses that keep your child's post-secondary options open
-
Help with study skills and exam prep, including Provincial Achievement Tests (PATs), diploma exams, and final exams
If your child is struggling with any part of math, it's best to get help sooner
rather than later.
Math is taught in a spiral, meaning each unit builds on the one before it,
so a strong foundation matters.

Our certified teachers specialize in science at all grade levels.
They can help with exam preparation, note-taking, and
understanding units in biology, chemistry, and physics.

We offer complete grade-level reading assessments, including:
-
Books to read at home and homework, when appropriate, to continue the work throughout the week
-
Recommendations for further assessment, such as screenings for dyslexia, dysgraphia, or ADHD
-
Strategies for both school and home
-
A focus on comprehension (understanding the text), not just decoding (reading the words)
