FSCD Developmental/Behavioural Support (DBS)

Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) is an Alberta government program that helps eligible families access supports and services for their child.
One type of FSCD funding is a Developmental/Behavioural Support (DBS) agreement

A DBS agreement is typically a six-month contract that pairs one therapist with one behavioural aide. The therapist can come from occupational therapy (OT), speech-language pathology (SLP), psychology, or behaviour. Together, they focus on two or three achievable goals within one behavioural or developmental area.
