2026 Daycamps

We are thrilled to be offering Summer Programs this year. We have 7 different themes to keep our learners engaged all summer long!

Planned with our OTs, Behavioural Therapists and SLPs, our camps combine play with valuable life skills to keep it fun and productive. Along with our specialists, we have aids to help ensure the day runs smoothly. Our ratio is 1 leader and 1 aid per 10 participants, If the need arises, more aids will be added. 

Please note we do not have single day camps. Our camps run for the whole week, Monday - Friday.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% refundable until April 15th, 2026.

  • 50% Refundable until June 1st, 2026

  • No Refunds from June1st, 2026 to the end of the camps

  • A doctor’s note is required for refunds after June 1st, 2026

  • All refunds are subject to a $50 administration fee
     

Payment: Payment is due at the time of registration

*****Early Bird Pricing is $425/week per person until March 31st, 2026
Regular Pricing is $475/week per person starting April 1st, 2026


Pre/Post care is $50/week - 8:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm-5:00pm

Building organization, planning, and independence skills

Executive Function Junction

Led by our Behavioural Consultant, this program provides targeted instruction and hands-on activities to help children understand what executive functioning is and how it impacts daily life.


Participants will practice essential skills such as:

  • Planning and sequencing

  • Task initiation and completion

  • Working memory

  • Time-management and organization

  • Self-regulation and flexible thinking
     

Through engaging games, collaborative challenges, and individualized support, participants learn practical strategies they can use at home, school, and in the community. These outcomes align with FSCD’s focus on building independence, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.

Fun Experiments and the World Around You

Our Behavioural Consultant and Occupational Therapist will plan and guide our explorers as they participate in hands-on activities, guided challenges, and collaborative projects that build:

  • Working memory

  • Planning and sequencing

  • Task initiation and follow-through

  • Organization and time awareness

  • Flexible thinking and problem-solving

These targeted outcomes directly support FSCD goals related to independence, emotional regulation, cognitive development, and daily living skills.

Daily Themes Include:

  • Space & Aliens: Explore galaxies, planets, and gravity with interactive space experiments.

  • Weather Wizards & Storm Chasers: Learn how clouds form, make tornado bottles, track storms, and explore weather patterns through high-interest experiments.

  • Volcanoes: Create chemical reactions, study eruption patterns, and explore earth through hands-on activities.

  • Mysteries of Earth: Investigate rocks, soil layers, crystals, and natural phenomena found in the world around us.

  • Engineering Builders: Build structures, test simple machines, and explore engineering concepts through creative challenges.

Develop creativity, problem-solving, and business skills while building independence

Young Entrepreneurs Program

Young Entrepreneurs is an interactive program where participants learn the basics of entrepreneurship while practicing planning, organization, and executive functioning skills.


Campers will:

  • Develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills through designing their own projects or products

  • Practice planning, organization, and task initiation as they manage small “business” activities

  • Learn teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills while working in groups

  • Build confidence, decision-making abilities, and independence

  • Understand money concepts, budgeting, and basic marketing in hands-on, age-appropriate activities

Throughout the week, participants will brainstorm ideas, design products, create presentations, and share their projects with the group. These activities align with FSCD goals related to independence, planning, problem-solving, social interaction, and executive functioning.

Boost communication, speech, and social skills through puppets and theatre

Puppet Play Makers

Led by our experienced Speech Language Pathologist, each child will make their own puppet, participate in group performances, and have the opportunity to write and present short plays. These activities align with FSCD goals related to communication, social interaction, self-expression, confidence-building, and understanding social cues.

 

Puppet Play Makers is a fun, interactive program designed to support speech, language, and social communication development through puppetry, reader’s theatre, and creative playwriting all planned by ourexperience SLP.


Puppeteers will:

  • Practice speech and articulation in a fun, low-pressure environment

  • Build confidence and social communication skills, including understanding and using non-verbal cues

  • Develop language, vocabulary, and storytelling abilities

  • Engage in planning and sequencing as they write, rehearse, and perform their own plays

  • Express creativity and problem-solving through designing and creating their own puppets

Enhance communication, creativity, and social skills through storytelling

Word Wizards – Storytelling Magic

Word Wizards is a fun, interactive, storytelling workshop where
storytellers develop language, communication, and social skills through storytelling, writing, and performance, with guidance from our SLP, and OT.

Led by our experienced team, the storytellers will create their own stories, participate in group storytelling exercises, and bring their ideas to life through performance. These activities align with FSCD goals related to communication, social interaction, executive functioning, and confidence-building.


Storytellers will:

  • Build expressive language and vocabulary through creating and sharing stories

  • Practice speech, articulation, and storytelling techniques in a supportive environment

  • Develop social skills and understanding of non-verbal cues through group storytelling and performances

  • Enhance planning, sequencing, and organization as they design storylines and

  • present their work

  • Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration

Creativity, problem-solving, and environmental awareness through hands-on projects

Upcycling Makers Lab

Led by our experienced team of OT, and Behavioural Therapist, makers will brainstorm, design, and build creative projects using a variety of materials. These activities align with FSCD goals related to executive functioning, independence, creativity, social interaction, and practical life skills.

Upcycling Makers Lab is a fun, interactive program where campers explore creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills by transforming thrift shop finds and recycled materials into unique creations.


Makers will:

  • Develop planning, organization, and task sequencing skills as they design and complete projects

  • Practice problem-solving and flexible thinking while experimenting with materials

  • Build confidence and independence through creating finished products

  • Learn about sustainability and environmental responsibility in a hands-on, engaging way

  • Enhance social skills and collaboration through group projects and sharing ideas

Summer Life Skills & Social Learning Program

How To Be A People

How To Be A People – Summer Life Skills & Social Learning Program.png

How To Be A People is a hands-on summer program designed to teach the “hidden skills” of everyday life — the social, communication, and practical abilities that both neurodivergent and
neurotypical children are rarely taught, but are expected to somehow just know.


This program supports children in developing:
People skills (social communication, conversation, self-advocacy)
Executive function skills (planning, sequencing, organization, task completion)
Occupational therapy skills (fine motor, coordination, self-care, functional independence)
Speech and language skills (pragmatics, expressive language, social language, perspective-taking)

Through guided practice, modeling, and structured support, children will learn real-life skills such as:


Life & Independence Skills

  • How to iron a dress shirt and pants

  • How to tie a tie

  • How to tie shoes

  • How to sew on a button

  • How to set a table properly

  • Understanding utensils and table settings

  • Table manners

Social & Communication Skills

  • How to introduce yourself

  • How to start and maintain a conversation with someone you just met

  • Elevator etiquette

  • Door etiquette (who opens the door, how to hold it, how to enter shared spaces)

  • Personal space and body awareness

  • Polite language, tone, and social cues

Functional Social Learning

  • Reading social situations

  • Understanding unspoken rules

  • Navigating shared spaces

  • Building confidence in everyday interactions
